Note orientation of fittings prior to removal.
(4) Remove 45-degree fitting (4) from emergency glad-hand
two-way check valve (6).
(5) Remove two 90-degree fittings (2) from emergency
gladhand two-way check valve (6).
b. Installation.
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing com-
pounds can burn easily, can give off
harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin
and clothing. Keep away from open fire
and use in a well-ventilated area. If
adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound
gets on skin or clothing, wash
immediately with soap and water. Failure
to comply may result in injury to
personnel.
(1) Apply antiseize compound to threads of two 90-degree
fittings (1) and 45-degree fitting (2).
(2) Install two 90-degree fittings (1) in emergency gladhand
two-way check valve (3).
(3) Install 45-degree fitting (2) in emergency gladhand two-
way check valve (3).
