(1) Position mechanical stop (1) in vise.
NOTE
Perform step (2) on vehicles not equipped
with enhanced resilient mounts.
(2) Remove nut (2), spring washer (3), bolt (4), and
resilient mount (5) from mechanical stop (1).
NOTE
Perform step (3) on vehicles equipped with
enhanced resilient mounts.
Discard spring washer.
(3) Remove enhanced resilient mount (6) and bolt (2)
from mechanical stop (3).
d. Resilient Mount Installation.
NOTE
Perform step (1) on vehicles not equipped
with enhanced resilient mounts.
(1) Enlarge mounting hole on mechanical stop (1) to
0.6 in. (15 mm).
(2) Position resilient mount (5) on mechanical stop
(1) with bolt (4), spring washer (3), and nut (2).
(3) Tighten nut (2) to 35-46 lb-ft (47-63 Nm).
(4) Remove mechanical stop (1) from vise.
