8-25. TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES REPLACEMENT (CONT)
(31) Position four clamps (29) on transmission oil cooler
hoses (3 and 26).
NOTE
Step (32) requires the aid of an assistant.
(32) Position four clamps (29) on transmission oil cooler hose
bracket (30) with four screws (31) and self-locking nuts
(32).
(33) Install gasket (33), flywheel cover (34), and transmission
oil cooler hose bracket (30) on flywheel housing (35) with
four washers (36) and screws (37).
(34) Tighten four self-locking nuts (32) to 96-132 lb-in. (11-13
Nm).
(35) Tighten four screws (37) to 16-25 lb-ft (21-35 Nm).
NOTE
Step (36) requires the aid of an assistant.
(36) Position lower front support crossmember (38) on vehicle
with four bolts (39) and self-locking nuts (40).
(37) Tighten four self-locking nuts (40) to 295-369 lb-ft (400-
500 Nm).
c. Follow-On Maintenance.
(1) Lower dump body (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
(2) Service transmission (Appendix H).
(3) Check transmission oil cooler hoses and fittings for oil
leaks (TM 9-2320-366-10-2).
