(3) Remove the two capscrews and plain
washers securing the thermostat housing assembly

(7) Remove the thermostat from the thermostat

b. Installation.
(1) Clean gasket surfaces on the thermostat
install a new gasket on the front of the header using
a liquid type gasket cement.
