14-7. M1088 UPPER PLATFORM REPLACEMENT (CONT)
(6) Remove self-locking nut (13) and eye ring (12) from
pedestal (14). Discard self-locking nut.
(7) Remove two self-locking nuts (15), screws (16) and
dummy connectors (10) from pedestal (14). Discard self-
locking nuts.
(8) Remove nut (17), lockwasher (18), washer (19) and
pedestal (14) from platform (4). Discard lockwasher.
(9) Remove two 45-degree fittings (20) from fittings (21 and
22).
(10) Remove two nuts (23), washers (24), fittings (21 and 22)
and labels (25) from platform (4).
(11) Remove fittings (6 and 8) from fittings (21 and 22).
NOTE
Perform steps (12) through (22) on vehicles
equipped with gladhand selector valves.
(12) Remove two self-locking nuts (1), screws (2) and metal
floor plates (3) from platform (4). Discard self-locking
nuts.
