NOTE
Perform step (32) on vehicles equipped with
transmission oil cooler tubes.
(32) Install preformed packing (54) on 90-degree fitting (55).
NOTE
Perform step (32.1) on vehicles equipped
with transmission oil cooler hoses.
(32.1) Install preformed packings (54 and 54.1) on 90-degree
fitting (55).
(33) Position 90-degree fitting (55) on transmission auxiliary
oil cooler (29).
(34) Tighten jam nut (56) on 90-degree fitting (55).
(35) Position transmission auxiliary oil cooler hose (48) on 90-
degree fitting (55).
(35.1) Tighten transmission auxiliary oil cooler hose (48) to 94-
104 lb-ft (127-141 Nm).
(36) Position heat shield (57) on transmission auxiliary oil
cooler (29) with two washers (58), screws (59), washers
(60), spring washers (61), and self-locking nuts (62).
(37) Position two screws (63), washers (64), and self-locking
nuts (65) in heat shield (57).
(38) Tighten two self-locking nuts (62) to 22-26 lb-ft (29-35
Nm).
(39) Tighten two self-locking nuts (65) to 22-26 lb-ft (29-35
Nm).
