4-221. PERSONNEL FUEL BURNING HEATER WIRING HARNESS REPLACEMENT (Contd)
1.
Position heater harness (9) on cab (21).
2.
Connect wire (7) to pin A of battery switch (6) and install wiring harness (5) on cab (21).
3.
Install heater harness (9) on cab (21) with four new tiedown straps (4).
4.
Connect lead (12) to lead (15) of wiring harness (5).
Connect heater harness (9) and lead (11) to heater control box (8) and lead (10).

Connect leads (29) and (13) to fuel pump (32).
Install three new tiedown straps (30) on fuel pump fuel lines (31).

Push lead (13) through firewall (3) into cab (21) and connect leads (13) and (24) to connector (23) on

cab (21).
Install four new tiedown straps (14) on fuel pump lead (13) and front harness (16) on engine

Install grommet (2) on heater harness (9) and firewall knockout (20).

Push harness connector (1) into engine compartment through firewall knockout (20) and connect

heater harness connector (1) to personnel heater (18).
Install washer (27), new lockwasher (26), ground wire (22), screw (25), washer (27), and new

locknut (28) on mounting bracket (19) and angle bracket (17).
