General mechanic's tool kit (Appendix E, Item 1)
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
MATERIALS/PARTS
Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Right and left splash shield removed
Lockwasher (Appendix D, Item 353)
Locknut (Appendix D, Item 299)
(TM 9-2320-272-10).
Eleven tiedown straps (Appendix D, Item 685)
Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).
PERSONNEL REQUIRED

Remove locknut (28), washer (27), screw (25), washer (27), lockwasher (26), and ground wire (22)

from mounting bracket (19) and angle bracket (17). Discard lockwasher (26) and locknut (28).
NOTE
Note routing of wiring harness and leads for installation.
Disconnect heater harness connector (1) from personnel heater (18) and push harness connector (1)

into cab through grommet (2).
Remove grommet (2) from firewall knockout (20) and fuel pump lead (13).

Remove four tiedown straps (14) from fuel pump lead (13) and front harness (16) on engine

compartment firewall (3). Discard tiedown straps (14).
Disconnect leads (13) and (24) from connector (23) on cab (21) and push lead (13) through firewall (3)

into engine compartment.
Remove three tiedown straps (30) from fuel pump fuel lines (31). Discard tiedown straps (30).

Disconnect leads (29) and (13) from fuel pump (32).
7.
Disconnect heater harness (9) and lead (11) from heater control box (8) and lead (10).
8.
Disconnect lead (12) from lead (15) of wiring harness (5).
9.
Remove four tiedown straps (4) from heater harness (9) on cab (21). Discard tiedown straps (4).

Disconnect wire (7) from pin A of battery switch (6) and remove wiring harness (5) from cab (21).

Remove heater harness (9) from cab (21).
