Remove two nuts (2) and lockwashers (3) from studs (8) and remove coolant heater box (7) from

mounting bracket (10). Discard lockwashers (1).
4.
Remove two locknuts (1), screws (9), and mounting bracket (10) from underside of dash (11). Discard
locknuts (1).
b. Installation
1.
Install mounting bracket (10) on underside of dash (11) with two screws (9) and new locknuts (1).
2.
Install coolant heater box (7) on mounting bracket (10) with two new lockwashers (3) and nuts (2).
3.
Connect connector (5) to control box wire (6) on coolant heater box (7).
4.
Connect coolant heater harness (4) to coolant heater box (7).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
Connect battery ground cables (para. 3-126).

Check personnel fuel burning heater for proper operation (TM 9-2320-272-10).
