Install three new gaskets (7) and rocker lever housings (6) on cylinder heads (8) and align push

six screws (2). Finger-tighten screws (2).
NOTE
Rocker lever housings are mounted using screw-assembled
lockwashers on late model engine.
Install twelve washers (5) and screws (4) on rocker lever housings (6) and cylinder heads (8).

Tighten screws (2) and (4) 50-65 lb-ft (68-88 Nm) in sequence shown.
Install three new gaskets (17) and rocker lever housing covers (18) on three rocker lever housings (6)

with fifteen screws (16). Tighten screws (16) 10-15 lb-ft (14-20 Nm).
Connect breather hose (20) to breather (19) with hose clamp (21).

NOTE
Perform step 7 for late model engine only.
Connect breather hose (23) to breather (19) and elbow (24) with two clamps (22).

NOTE
l Perform steps 8 for no. three rocker lever housing cover only.
l Assistant will help with step 8.
Turn left and right screw jacks (15) at the same time and lower cab on frame (11). Ensure clearance
