When cleaning with compressed air, wear

a. Removal
1.
Remove brake drum (10) from hub (6).
2.
NOTE
Tag inner and outer bearings for installation.
3.
Remove outer bearing nut (1) and washer (2) from spindle (5).
4.
Remove bearing adjusting nut (3) and outer bearing (4) from spindle (5).
CAUTION
Do not allow hub assembly to slide directly over threaded end of
spindle. Damage to air seals may result.
NOTE
Assistant will help with step 5.
5.
Remove hub (6) from spindle (5).
6.
Remove hub seal (13) and inner bearing (14) from hub (6). Discard hub seal (13).
7.
Remove snapring (11) and two air seals (12) from hub (6). Discard air seals (12).
