Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
MATERIALS/PARTS
Two cotter pins (Appendix D, Item 46)
Fourteen lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 400)
a. Removal
Fold down backrest cushion frame (2).

Remove eight screws (1), lockwashers (6), washers (5), and backrest cushion (3) from backrest

cushion frame (2). Discard lockwashers (6).
Remove six screws (8), lockwashers (9), washers (10), and seat cushion (7) from battery box

cushion (4). Discard lockwashers (9).
Remove two springs (13) from two battery box cover extensions (15) and backrest cushion frame (2).

Remove two cotter pins (11), four washers (12), two pins (14), and backrest cushion frame (2) from

b. Installation
Install backrest cushion frame (2) on battery box cover extensions (15) with two pins (14), four

washers (12), and two new cotter pins (11).
Install two springs (13) on battery box cover extensions (15) and backrest cushion frame (2).

Install seat cushion (7) on battery box cushion (4) with six washers (10), lockwashers (9), and screws (8).

Install backrest cushion (3) on backrest cushion frame (2) with eight washers (5), new lockwashers (6),
