EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
MATERIALS/PARTS
Four locknuts (Appendix D. Item 291)
a. Removal
1.
Fold companion seat backrest (3) forward.
2.
Release two latches (5) on battery box (4).
3.
Raise battery box cover (2) and secure with support rod (1).
4.
Remove four locknuts (10), screws (7), and washers (6) from map compartment risers (9) and battery
box cover (2). Discard locknuts (10).
5.
Remove map compartment (8) from battery box (4).
b. Installation
1.
Install map compartment (8) on battery box cover (2) with four washers (6), screws (7), and four new
locknuts (10).
2.
Secure support rod (1) in battery box (4), lower battery box cover (2), and secure with two latches (5).
3.
Lower companion seat backrest (3).
