EQUIPMENT CONDITION
MATERIALS/PARTS
Battery ground cable disconnected
Four Iockwashers (Appendix D, Item 232)
(TM 9-2320-260-20).
Four Iockwashers (Appendix D, Item 234)
Drain hydraulic system (LO 9-2320-260-12).
Gasket sealant (Appendix C, Item 43)
Cap and plug set (Appendix C, Item 6)
Antiseize tape (Appendix C, Item 50)
CAUTION
Clean area around hoses and lines before removal to prevent
q
entry of dirt. Damage will occur if dirt or dust enters system.
q Cap or plug all openings immediately after disconnecting lines
and hoses to prevent contamination.
NOTE
q Tag all wires and hydraulic lines for installation.
q Have drainage container ready to catch hydraulic oil.
1. Disconnect hydraulic hoses (8) and (10) from elbows (7) and (9).
2. Remove elbows (7) and (9) from auxiliary pump (5).
3. Remove four screws (1), terminal cover (2), and gasket (3) from auxiliary pump (5).
4. Remove three nuts (23), washers (22), and wires (18) from terminal studs (4).
5. Loosen jamnut (20) and remove wiring insulator (19) and washer (21) from auxiliary pump (5).
6. Remove four nuts (16), Iockwashers (17), screws (6), and auxiliary pump (5) from mounting
bracket (14). Discard Iockwashers (17).
7. Remove four nuts (11), Iockwashers (12), screws (15), and mounting bracket ( 14) from frame (13).
Discard Iockwashers (12).
b. Installation
1. Install mounting bracket (14) on frame (13) with four screws (15), new Iockwashers (12), and
nuts (11).
2. Install auxiliary pump (5) on mounting bracket (14) with four screws (6), new Iockwashers ( 17),
and nuts (16).
3. Install washer (21) on wiring insulator (19), and connect wiring insulator (19) to auxiliary pump (5).
Tighten jamnut (20).
