(4) Match mark two 90-degree fittings (3) to hand pump (1).
(5) Remove two 90-degree fittings (3) from hand pump (1).
(6) Remove four preformed packings (8) from two 90-degree
fittings (3). Discard preformed packings.
b. Disassembly.
WARNING
Retaining clips are under tension and can
act as projectiles when released causing
severe eye injury.
Use care when
removing retaining rings.
Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel.
(1) Remove two retaining clips (1) and pin (2) from pump
linkage (3).
(2) Remove pump piston (4) from pump base (5).
(3) Remove two retaining clips (6), pin (7), and pump socket
(8) from pump piston (4).
(4) Remove two retaining clips (9), pin (10), and pump
linkage (3) from pump base (5).
