(7) Position drain pan under transmission (18).
(8) Disconnect transmission auxiliary oil cooler hose (11)
from 90-degree fitting (19).
(9) Remove transmission auxiliary oil cooler hose (11) from
vehicle.
(10) Remove preformed packing (20) from 90-degree fitting
(19). Discard preformed packing.
d. Installation (S/N 7162 and higher).
NOTE
Step (1) required the aid of an assistant.
Install plastic cable ties as required.
(1) Route transmission auxiliary oil cooler hose (1) on
vehicle.
(2) Install preformed packing (2) on 90-degree fitting (3).
(3) Position transmission auxiliary oil cooler hose (1) to 90-
degree fitting (3).
(4) Tighten transmission auxiliary oil cooler hose (1) to 94-
104 lb-ft (127-141 Nm).
