EQUIPMENT CONDITION
MATERIALS/PARTS
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Hydraulic oil reservoir drained (para. 4-188).
Filter gasket (Appendix D, Item 237)
Fuel can bracket removed (para. 4-187).
Cap and plug set (Appendix C, Item 14)
Antiseize tape (Appendix C. Item 72)
CAUTION
After disconnecting hydraulic lines and hoses, plug all openings to
prevent dirt from entering and causing internal parts damage.
NOTE
Have drainage container ready to catch oil.
1.
Disconnect flex hose (5) from hydraulic oil filter elbow (4).
2.
Remove hydraulic oil filter elbow (4) from filter housing (3).
3.
Remove four screws (7) and washers (6) from filter housing (3) and mounting flange (1).
4.
Remove filter housing (3) and gasket (2) from mounting flange (1). Discard gasket (2) and clean
gasket remains from mating surfaces.

Install new gasket (2) and filter housing (3) on mounting flange (1) with four washers (6) and
screws (7).
2.
Wrap hydraulic oil filter elbow (4) with antiseize tape and install on hydraulic oil filter housing (3).
3.
Connect flex hose (5) on hydraulic oil filter elbow (4).
