NOTE
Both sets of trolley wheels are installed the same.
An arbor press may be required to perform step 17.

Install axle (9) in frame (10).
Install thrust washer (8) on axle (9).

Install bearing (7) in wheel (6).
Install two washers (4), new felt washer (5), wheel (6), new felt washer (5), two washers (4), new

lockwasher (3), and screw (2) on axle (9).

Install grease fitting (1) on screw (2).

Place spring (18) over poppet (14) and install with nut (19).

Install poppet (14) and latch (20) in track (11) with two nuts (21).
Place level wind assembly (10) on track (11) and install with four new lockwashers (23) and

screws (22).

Install two stopscrews (12) on track (11) with each screw (12) positioned with two nuts (13). Level
wind (10) receives final adjustment when winch (17) is mounted on vehicle.
Install level wind assembly (10) and track (11) on winch (17) with four new lockwashers (16) and
screws (15).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
Lubricate level wind (LO 9-2320-272-12).
Install winch cable (para. 3-325).
