NOTE
Coat splines of input shaft with GAA grease to protect seals
during assembly.

Press input shaft (2) and bearing (3) into bearing cap (6) until seated on shoulder (7) of bearing
cap (6).
Install new bearing retainer (1) in hub of bearing cap (6).

Align new lockpin (4) holes on hub of bearing cap (6) with retainer (1).

Install lockpin (4) in bearing cap (6) and retainer (1) until tip of lockpin (4) is below surface of hub
of bearing cap (6).
Install grease fitting (5) in bearing cap (6).

Install new O-ring (24) on cylinder head (10).

With marks aligned, install cylinder head (10) on housing (11) with ten new lockwashers (9) and

screws (8). Tighten screws (8) 20-30 lb-ft (27-41 Nm).
Install new O-ring (26) on plunger (26).

Install plunger (26) in cylinder head (10).

Install new O-ring (13) on bearing cap (6).

Install bearing cap (6) on housing (11) with ten new lockwashers (14) and screws (15), turning input

shaft (2) as necessary. Tighten screws (16) 20-30 lb-ft (27-41 Nm).
