EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

MATERIALS/PARTS
Air reservoirs drained (TM 9-2320-272-10).

Three lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 345)
NOTE
Perform steps 1 through 7 for vehicles equipped with PTO.
1.
Remove six screws (5) and access cover (6) from shift panel (2).
2.
Remove two nuts (10), screws (14), clamp (13), PTO control cable (9), and spacer (12) from
bracket (11).
3.
Remove cotter pin (4), washer (3), clevis pin (8), and clevis (7) from control lever (1). Discard cotter
pin (4).
4.
Remove two nuts (19), screws (24), clamp (23), front winch control cable (22), and spacer (21) from
bracket (20).
5.
Remove cotter pin (15), washer (16), clevis pin (25), and clevis (17) from shift lever (18). Discard
cotter pin (15).
6.
Remove three screws (27), lockwashers (26), and PTO control panel assembly (2) from mounting
plate (30) and cab floor (31). Discard lockwashers (26).
7.
Install three screws (27) on mounting plate (30) and cab floor (31) to hold pneumatic controller (32)
in place.
NOTE
Perform steps 8 and 9 for vehicles without PTO.
8.
Remove three screws (34), lockwashers (33), and cover (35) from mounting plate (30) and cab floor (31).
9.
Install three screws (34) on mounting plate (30) and cab floor (31) to hold pneumatic controller (32)
in place.
10.
Disconnect wire (28) from pressure transducer (29).
11.
Remove pressure transducer (29) from pneumatic controller (32).
