Spare tire removed (TM 9-2320-272-10).
Four lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 354)
Hydraulic oil reservoir drained (LO 9-2320-272-12).
O-ring (Appendix D, Item 455)
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Cap and plug set (Appendix C, Item 14)
Antiseize tape (Appendix C, Item 72)
Store or dispose of used oil properly.
Accidental or intentional introduction of liquid contaminants into
the environment is in violation of state, federal, and military
regulations. Refer to Army POL (para. 1-8) for information
concerning storage, use, and disposal of these liquids. Failure to do
so may result in injury or death.
When disconnecting hydraulic lines and hoses, plug all openings to
prevent dirt from entering and causing damage to internal parts.
NOTE
Have drainage container ready to catch oil.
Tag all hydraulic lines for installation.

Remove two locknuts (4), screws (2), and brace (5) from muffler support (1) and reservoir
base (3). Discard locknuts (4).

While holding nut (20), disconnect oil supply line (19) from elbow (13).
3.
Remove four screws (18), lockwashers (17), two split flanges (16), oil supply hose (19), and O-ring (15)
from hydraulic oil pump (14). Discard lockwashers (17) and O-ring (15).
4.
Remove two locknuts (9), washers (8), and U-bolt (22) from nipple support (7). Discard
locknuts (9).
5.
Remove elbow (13) and nipple (12) from reservoir (6).
Remove two locknuts (21), screws (10), washers (11), and nipple support (7) from reservoir base (3).
6.
Discard locknuts (21).
