3. Inspect tensioner frame (1), two sheaves (2), two bearings (3), four thrust washers (4), bushings (5)
and (6), shaft (7), pin (8), shaft (9), and block (10) for breaks, cracks, bends, chips, scoring, and
excessive wear. Refer to table 16-4, Cable Tensioner Parts Wear Limits, for measurements. Replace
part(s) if damaged or worn.
