EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Four lockwashers
Two cotter pins
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-260-10).
1. Remove cotter pin (8) and control rod (10) from lever (9). Discard cotter pin (8).
2. Remove four nuts (1), lockwashers (2), screws (4), and control lever assembly (3) from frame (5).
Discard lockwashers (2).
1. Remove cotter pin (11), clevis pin (12), and control rod (10) from lever (14). Discard cotter pin (11).
2. Remove two grease fittings (13) from brackets (6).
1. Inspect control rod (10) for cracks, breaks, and twists. Replace control rod (10) if damaged.
2. Inspect control lever assembly (3) for cracks, breaks, and bends. Replace control lever assembly (3)
if damaged.
3. Inspect control lever (7) for cracks, breaks, and twists. Replace control lever (7) if damaged.
1. Install two grease fittings (13) in brackets (6).
2. Install control rod (10) on lever (14) with clevis pin (12) and new cotter pin (11).
1. Install control lever assembly (3) on frame (5) with four screws (4), new lockwashers (2),
and nuts (1).
2. Install control rod (10) on lever (9) with new cotter pin (8).
