Step 6. Using a 9/32 inch transfer punch, mark the center of the two mounting holes.
Step 7. Using a Letter "Q" size drill bit, drill out the two marked holes. Drill only through the inside surface
of the tailgate. Do not drill completely through the opposite side of the tailgate. Remove any burrs.
Step 8. Install a 1/4-20 blind Rivnut in each of the two mounting holes using the Rivnut installation tool
included with the mounting kit. Complete instructions for Rivnut installation can be found in WP 0013.
