ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZATION LIST (AAL)
SCOPE
This work package lists additional items you are authorized for support of the vehicle.
GENERAL
This list identifies items that do not have to accompany the MTV and that do not have to
be turned in with it. These items are all authorized to you by Common Tables of
Allowance (CTA), Modification Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE), Tables of
Distribution and Allowances (TDA), or Joint Table of Allowance (JTA).
EXPLANATIONS OF COLUMNS IN THE AAL
Column (1), National Stock Number, identifies the stock number of the item to be used for
requisitioning purposes.
Column (2), Description, CAGEC, and Part Number, identifies Federal item name (in all
capital letters) followed by a minimum description when needed. The last line below the
description is the CAGEC (Commercial and Government Entity Code) (in parentheses) and
the part number.
Column (3), Usable On Code, when applicable, gives you a code if the item you need is
not the same for different models of equipment.

Column (4), U/M (unit of measure), indicates how the item is issued for the National Stock
Number shown in column (1).
Column (5), QTY AUTH, indicates the quantity authorized.
