NOTE
Left and right side chains are installed the same way. Right side shown.
17. Install two shackles (6) on M1089A1 rear towing eyes (18) with clevis pins (7).
18. Connect one end of two chains (1) to M1089A1 rear shackles (6).
NOTE
Chains must be wrapped around crossbar so that chains are approximately
6-10 in. (15-25 cm) above ground.
19. Wrap two chains (1) around crossbar (13).
20. Connect other end of chains (1) around M1078/M1078A1 and/or M1083/M1083A1
rear axle (40).
