Install two ladder plugs (2) in ladder mounting holes (3) with two pins (1).
STOW LADDER (M1090A1)
WARNING
Do not press dump TAILGATE RELEASE switch while tailgate is not
connected at the top. Tailgate will fall from dump body. Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
NOTE
The M1090A1 ladder may be used with tailgate up or down. With the tailgate
up, the ladder may be installed on the LH or RH side, with the tailgate down
the ladder may be installed only on the RH side.
Perform steps (1) through (4) to remove the ladder with the tailgate down.

Remove ladder (5) from mounting slots (20).
