Remove ladder (5) from front ladder bracket (17) and rear ladder brackets (18 and
19).
NOTE
M1090A1 ladder may be used with tailgate up or down. With the tailgate up,
the ladder may be installed on the LH or RH side, with the tailgate down the
ladder may be installed only on the RH side.
Perform step (6) to install the ladder with the tailgate up. Left side shown.

Mount ladder (5) in two ladder mounting slots (20).
