Disconnect power cable connector (7) from winch power cable connector (8).

Disconnect remote control connector (9) from winch remote control connector (10).
NOTE
Perform steps 4 through 8 if boom was in 25-degree or 57-degree position.
Steps 4 through 8 require the aid of an assistant.

Support end of boom (11).
