4-227. DEEPWATER FORDING AIR PRESSURE HOSE REPLACEMENT (Contd)
NOTE
All male threads must be wrapped with antiseize tape before
installation.
1.
Install bracket (22) on radiator support bracket (23) with screw (29).
2.
Install shutoff valve (10) on air compressor (19).
3.
Install elbow (12) and drain valve (11) on alcohol evaporator (13).
4.
Install air line (91 on shutoff valve (10) and alcohol evaporator (13).
5.
Install bushing (16) on tee (14)
6.
Install vent hose (8) on bushing (15) and pressurized valve connector (30).
7.
Install bushing (17) on tee (16).
8.
Install pressure hose (7) on bushing (17) and pressurized valve connector (31).
9.
Install five new tiedown straps (18) on pressure hose (71 and vent hose (8).
10.
Install adapter (20) on power steering pump (21).
11.
Install power steering pump hose (28) on pressurized valve connector (27) and adapter (20).
12.
Install power steering pump hose (28) on bracket (22) with clamp (25), screw (24), and new
locknut (26).
13.
Install supply hose (4) on pressurized valve adapter (1) and regulator valve (6).
14.
Install clamp (3) on supply hose (4) with screw (2) and nut (5).
