1.
Pack two bearings (5) with GAA grease and install in roller (6) (TM 9-214).

Soak two new felt washers (4) in lubricating oil and place on bearings (5) at each end of roller (6).
3.
Place thrust washer (3) over felt washers (4) on each end of roller (6).
NOTE
Assistant will help with steps 4 and 5.

Slide roller (6) with bearings (5), felt washers (4), and thrust washers (3) into bracket (12).
5.
Ensure slot in shaft (8) faces out, and install shaft (8) through bracket (12) and roller (6).
6.
Align lockplate (9) with slot in shaft (8), and install with two new lockwashers (11) and screws (16).
7.
Install two grease fittings (7), one in each end of shaft (8).
8.
Install two grease fittings (2) in tensioner sheave shafts (1).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
Lubricate roller assembly (LO 9-2320-272-12).
Install left side roller, if removed (para. 4-183).
