Remove seven rivets (23) and seal (22) from door frame (32). Discard rivets (23).

Step 5 applies to left rear door only.

Remove four screws (16), clip (17), six screws (19), and bracket (18) from inner panel (31).
NOTE
Step 6 applies to right rear door.
Remove three rivets (35), handle (34), and gasket (33) from outer panel (25). Discard rivets (35).

Remove two cotter pins (11), screws (7), lockwashers (8), and rod (9) from center case (15) and two
bolt and case assemblies (5). Discard lockwashers (8) and cotter pins (11).

Remove pins (13) and (14) and handle (12) from center case (15).

Remove four screws (10) and center case (15) from inner panel (31).
10.
Remove eight screws (6), two bolt and case assemblies (5), and spacer plates (4) from inner panel (3).
Remove sixteen screws (30), retainer (29), seal (28), hinge (27), and seal (26) from door frame (32).
11.
Discard seals (28) and (26).
Break adhesive seal and remove moldings (1), (2), and (3) from inner panel (31).

NOTE
Steps 13 and 14 apply to left rear door only.
Break adhesive seal and remove weatherseal (24) from door frame (32). Discard weatherseal (24).

Remove thirty-five screws (20) and molding (21) from door frame (32).
NOTE
Step 15 applies to right rear door only.
Remove thirty-four screws (20) and molding (21) from door frame (32).

c . Cleaning and Inspection
1.
For general cleaning instructions, refer to para. 2-14.

Inspect all center case (15) movable parts for proper operation. Replace any parts if damaged.
3.
Inspect rods (9) for breaks and bends. Replace rods (9) if damaged.
4.
Inspect moldings (1), (2), (3), and (21) for cracks and bends. Replace moldings (1), (2), (3), or (21) if
damaged.

Rustproof all inside surfaces and boxed-in areas (TB 43-0213).
NOTE
l Apply sealing compound between exterior joints.
l Apply adhesive to rubber and metal surfaces for installation.
l Step 2 applies to right rear door only.

Install molding (21) on door frame (32) with thirty-four screws (20).
NOTE
Steps 3 and 4 apply to left rear door only.

Install molding (21) on door frame (32) with thirty-five screws (20).
4.
Install weatherseal (24) on door frame (32) with adhesive.
5.
Install moldings (1), (2), and (3) on inner panel (31) with adhesive.
