Install mounting plate (9) on differential housing (7) with two new lockwashers (4) and screws (3).
NOTE
Wrap all male threads with antiseize before installation.

Install two adapter fittings (5), secondary line (8), and primary line (6) on mounting plate (9).
Install tee fitting (16), elbow (14), two adapter elbows (13), spring brake override line (10),

secondary line (11), and vent liner (1) and (2) on left and right spring brakes (12).
NOTE
Perform step 14 for M939A2 series vehicles,

Install elbows (27) and (26), vent line (24), and primary line (25) on right and left service brake
chambers (12),
Connect two air liner (16) to elbows (17) on relief valve (18),

Install propeller shaft (20) on companion flange (10) with eight screws (21) and new locknuts (22).
Tighten locknuts (22) 32-40 lb-ft (43-54 Nm).
Install wheels (para. 3-218 or para. 3-219).

Remove hydraulic jack and jack stands from rear axle (23).
