Disconnect harness cable positive wire (4) from power circuit wire (3) in engine compartment at
wiring harness (1).
5.
Remove screw (9), clamp (5), lockwasher (6). and ground wires (7) and (8) from protective control
box (2). Discard lockwasher (6).
6.
Remove wire (11) from grommet (12) and floor (10) behind driver's seat.
b. Detector and Alarm Bracket Removal
1.
Remove four locknuts (16), support plate (17), four screws (14), and bracket (15) from left front
fender (13). Discard locknuts (16).
NOTE
Assistant will help with step 2.
2.
Remove two locknuts (21), mounting bracket (18), two screws (20), and washers (19) from cab
body (22). Discard locknuts (21).
