c. Circuit Breaker Removal
1.
Disconnect two wires (6) from circuit breaker (4) between dash panel (2) and firewall (1).
2.
Remove two screws (5) and circuit breaker (4) from bracket (3).
d. Thermal Switch Removal
1.
Remove locknut (9), clamp (8), wire (7), and screw (12) from thermal switch shield (15). Discard
locknut (9).
2.
Remove two locknuts (18) and screws (13) from thermal switch shield (15) and bracket (17). Discard
locknuts (18).
3.
Remove locknut (16), screw (14), and thermal switch shield (15) from bracket (11).
Discard locknut (16).
4.
Remove two screws (21) and wires (20) from thermal switch (19).
5.
Remove thermal switch (19) from tube (10).
e. Thermal Switch Installation
1.
Install thermal switch (19) on tube (10).
NOTE
Apply liberal coating of antiseize compound to both terminals.
2.
Install
two wires (20) on thermal switch (19) with two screws (21).
3.
Install
shield (15) on bracket (11) with screw (14) and new locknut (16).
4.
Install
two screws (13) and new locknuts (18) on shield (15) and bracket (17).
5.
Install
clamp (8) and wire (7) on thermal switch shield (15) with screw (12) and new locknut (9).
f. Circuit Breaker Installation
1.
Install circuit breaker (4) on bracket (3) with two screws (5).
2.
Connect two wires (6) to circuit breaker (4) between dash panel (2) and firewall (1).
