l. Visually inspect spring leaves, retaining clips, and
center screws for cracks, breaks, and security of mounting.
Replace spring leaves, retaining clips, or center screws if

round condition. Replace torque rods if rubber is cracked

purposes, torque rod nuts should be 350-700 lb-ft
(475-949 Nm). If loose, tighten torque rod nuts
350-400 lb-ft (475-542 Nm). Continue to tighten until
cotter pins can be installed.
n. Inspect both front and rear wearpads for wear. Replace
