Loosen wingnut (4) and remove air filter (5) from intake air cleaner housing (3).
CAUTION
Use extreme care when cleaning air filter. Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
NOTE
If filter element is damaged or cannot be cleaned by tapping, notify Field
Maintenance upon completion of the current mission.
4.
Gently tap air filter (5) on a flat hard surface to loosen dirt.
5.
Inspect filter element (5) for damage.
