WARNING
Vehicles are equipped with a Load and Battery Control Device
(LBCD). The LBCD has internal capacitors that must be discharged
prior to performing maintenance or troubleshooting procedures.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment and/or injury
to personnel.
2. Position master power switch
to on for 30 seconds (WP 0004
00).
3. Position master power switch
to off (WP 0004 00).
WARNING
Electrical power is still present inside the battery disconnect
enclosure with the MBDS in the disconnect (OFF) position. Do not
touch the studs of the MBDS. Failure to comply may result in injury
or death to personnel.
Remove rings, bracelets, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other
jewelry before working around vehicle. Jewelry may catch on
equipment of may short across an electrical circuit or battery
terminal. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to
personnel.
