4. Air pressure in the tires is controlled by the CTIS ECU. The CTIS ECU provides for four
tire pressure settings: Highway, Cross-Country, Sand, and Emergency. Run Flat is an
enhanced mode used in all four modes. Kneeling of the vehicle is accomplished
automatically by pressing and holding in on the EMER button until it starts to flicker
allowing air pressure to be released from tires for internal air transport (C-130 and C-
141).
