c. Assembly
1.
Install new woodruff key (12) on oil pump shaft (15).

Position oil pump adapter (10) against oil pump (13), align oil pump gear (11) on oil pump shaft (15),
and install three screws (14). Tighten screws (14) 9-11 lb-ft (12-15 Nm).
Install new snapring (18) on oil pump shaft (15).

Install new adapter plug gasket (17) and adapter plug (16) on oil pump adapter (10). Tighten
adapter plug (16) 80 lbft (108 Nm).
Install inner bearing (5), outer bearing (2), and new oil seal sleeve (3) on PTO shaft (4) with arbor

press and mandrel.
Position inner bearing race (6) over inner bearing (5) on PTO shaft (4).

Position PTO shaft (4) in PTO housing (9) through bearing cap end (8) of PTO housing (9). Ensure

inner bearing race (6) seats squarely in bore of PTO housing (9) on shoulder (7).
Position outer bearing race (1) in PTO housing (9). Ensure outer bearing race (1) seats squarely in

bore of PTO housing (9).
NOTE
Ensure OUTSIDE stamping is up.
9.
Using arbor press and mandrel, install new oil seal (19) in bearing cap (20).
