Remove cotter pin (15) from fifth wheel housing (22). Discard cotter pin (15).

Remove safety wire (9), two locknuts (12), washers (13), bracket (14), and plunger rack latch (17)

from stud (21), screw (23), and fifth wheel housing (22). Discard safety wire (9) and locknuts (12).
Remove spring (7), plunger rack (18), screw (23), and spacer (20) from fifth wheel housing (22).

Remove screw (28), lockwasher (27), cam (26), and bushing (25) from fifth wheel housing (22).
13.
Discard lockwasher (27).
Remove locknut (6), washer (5), screw (3), and yoke (4) from pinion gear (19). Discard locknut (6).

Remove handle (1) from fifth wheel housing (22).
15.
Loosen jamnut (2) and remove handle (1) from yoke (4) and jamnut (2) from handle (1).

Remove locknut (8), screw (24), washer (10), spacer (11), and pinion gear (19) from fifth wheel

housing (22). Discard locknut (8).
Remove spring (32) from two coupler jaws (31).

Remove two lubrication fittings (34), screws (35), lockwashers (36), and washers (37) from coupler

Remove two coupler jaws (31), compression arm (33), and two bushings (38) from fifth wheel
