Coat new backing ring (10) with clean GAA grease and install on rack piston (3).
11.
Install rack piston (3) and wormshaft (2) through end cover side of gear housing (9).
12.
Install wormshaft adjusting screw (14) and jamnut (15) a few turns in end cover (11).
13.
Install poppet adjusting screw (17) and jamnut (16) a few turns in end cover (11).
14.
Install new O-ring (18) and end cover (11) on housing (9) with four washers (12) and screws (13).
15.
Tighten screws (13) 105-115 lb-ft (142-156 Nm).
Install poppet adjusting screw (21) and jamnut (20) a few turns in valve housing (19).
16.
Lubricate new valve housing O-ring (22) and install in groove (25) on valve housing (19).
17.
Install thrust washer (23) and thrust bearing (24) in bore of valve housing (19).
