GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
MATERIALS/PARTS
Eyeshields must be worn when releasing
compressed air.
Tiedown straps (Appendix D, Item 690)
Air reservoirs must be drained before removing air
Antiseize tape (Appendix C, Item 72)
system components.

a. Removal
WARNING
Release all air pressure before loosening or removing air system
component(s).
Eyeshields must be worn when releasing compressed air.
Failure to do so may result in injury to personnel.
1.
Remove tiedown straps (3) from pressure switch lead (4). Discard tiedown straps (3).
2.
Disconnect pressure switch (2) from wiring harness (1).
3.
Remove pressure switch lead (4) from elbow (5).
b. Installation
NOTE
Wrap male threads with antiseize tape before installation.
1.
Install pressure switch lead (4) on elbow (5).
2.
Connect pressure switch (2) to wiring harness (1).
3.
Install new tiedown straps (3) on pressure switch lead (4).
