Air cleaner, air cleaner hose, air intake pipe, and
hump hose removed (para. 3-13).
General mechanic's tool kit (Appendix E, Item 1)

Do not disconnect air lines before draining air
Cotter pin (Appendix D, Item 78)
reservoirs.
Three cotter pins (Appendix D, Item 66)
Antiseize tape (Appendix D, Item 72)

Do not disconnect air lines before draining air reservoirs. Small
parts under pressure may shoot out with high velocity, causing
injury to personnel.
1.
Remove cotter pin (12), washer (13), and pin (14) from throttle lever (1). Discard cotter pin (12).
2.
Remove tube (10) from elbow (11).
3.
Remove cotter pin (8), washer (9), pin (5), and air cylinder (2) from bracket (6). Discard cotter pin (8).
NOTE
Assistant will help with step 4.
4.
Remove four screws (3), washers (4), and bracket (6) from cab floor (7).
5.
Remove clevis (16), jamnut (15), and elbow (11) from air cylinder (2).
