EQUIPMENT CONDITION
l Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
MATERIALS/PARTS
Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).
l
Two lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 400)
Two locknuts (Appendix D. Item 313)
1.
Disconnect coolant heater harness connector (5) from coolant heater control box (8).
2.
Disconnect connector (6) from control box wire (7).
3.
Remove two nuts (2), lockwashers (3), and coolant heater control box (8) from control mounting
bracket (4). Discard lockwashers (3).
4.
Remove two locknuts (1), screws (9), and control mounting bracket (4) from instrument panel (10).
Discard locknuts (1).
b. Installation
1.
Install control mounting bracket (4) on instrument panel (10) with two screws (9) and new
locknuts (1).
2.
Install coolant heater control box (8) on control mounting bracket (4) with two new lockwashers (3)
and nuts (2).
3.
Connect connector (6) to control box wire (7).
4.
Connect coolant heater harness connector (5) to coolant heater control box (8).
