a. Removal
WARNING
Wear hand protection when handling winch cable. Broken wires
may cause injury to personnel.
1.
Remove setscrew (4) and cable (2) from hole (3) in winch drum (1).
2.
Pull cable (2) out over level wind pulley (9), down through tensioner sheaves (6), and out of rollers (8),
and side of rollers (7).
b. Installation
1.
Thread cable (2) into center of side rollers (7), rollers (8), tensioner sheaves (6), under level wind
pulley plate (5), and over level wind pulley (9).
2.
Insert cable (2) in hole (3) of winch drum (1) and install setscrew (4).
