OPERATION UNDER UNUSUAL CONDITIONS
NBC DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES
When the CBC is subjected to NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) contamination, perform operational
decontamination procedures in accordance with FM 3-5, until a thorough DECON (Decontamination) can
be performed.
NOTE
During thorough DECON and reconstitution efforts, rubber/foam gaskets,
adhesive sealants, and wire rope cables may need to be replaced and
should be considered in logistics planning.
