EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
a. Removal
1.
Remove cables (5) and (6) from connectors (4) and (8).
2.
Remove eight screws (7) and cover (9) from junction box (1).
3.
Disconnect wiring harness (2) and (3) from connectors (4) and (8) (TM 9-237).
4.
Remove six screws (10) and cover (11) from load center (14).
5.
Pull wiring harnesses (2) and (3) from conduit (20) and load center (14).
6.
Remove nut (15), coupling (13), and nut (12) from conduit (20) and load center (14).
NOTE
Assistant will help with step 7.
7.
Remove two nuts (18) and coupling (19) from conduits (20) and (16). Remove conduit (20) from van
body (17).
b. Installation
1.
Position conduit (20) on van body (17).
2.
Install coupling (19) on conduits (20) and (16) with two nuts (18).
3.
Install coupling (13) on conduit (20) and load center (14) with nut (12) and nut (15).
4.
Route wiring harnesses (2) and (3) through conduit (20) and load center (14).
5.
Install cover (11) on load center (14) with six screws (10).
6.
Connect wiring harnesses (2) and (3) to connectors (4) and (8) (TM 9-237).
NOTE
Apply sealing compound before performing step 7.
7.
Install cover (9) on junction box (1) with eight screws (7).
8.
Install cables (5) and (6) on connectors (4) and (8).
