l Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).
l Failsafe warning module removed (para. 3-106).
l Main light switch removed (para. 3-108).

a. Removal
Tag wires, connectors, and cables for installation.
Disconnect front wiring harness connector (8) from front lights cable assembly receptacle (1).

Remove nut (5), washer (3), screw (2), washer (3), cable clamp (4), and wiring harness (7) from

radiator (6).
Disconnect tachometer pulse sender connector (19) from fuel pump connector (18).

Disconnect fuel pressure transducer connector (17) on fuel pump (16) from front wiring harness

connector (20).
Remove screw (11), washer (12), and cable clamp (10) from engine intake manifold (9).

Remove nut (14) and two wires (13) from fuel pump shutoff solenoid (15).

Disconnect wire (23) from engine temperature sending unit (22) and remove wiring harness from

behind air compressor (21) and intake manifold (9).
Disconnect wires (25) and (26) from ether start fuel pump pressure switch (24).
