wheels
annual
Completely deflate tire before removing from axle
and hubs,
if there is obvious damage to wheel components.
and
Injury or death to personnel may result from
suspension
exploding wheel components.
Use caution when inflating tires. Ensure tire is in
a tire cage and properly seated on rim before
inflating. An improperly seated tire can burst
with explosive force. Failure to comply can result
in death or serious injury to personnel.
Do not work on any component supported only
by lift jacks or hoist. Always use blocks or proper
stands to support the component prior to any
work. Equipment may fall and cause injury or
death to personnel.
Air in system is under pressure. Ensure engine
is shut down and all air reservoirs are drained
before disconnecting CTIS components to prevent
serious injury to personnel.
Do not allow grease or oil to contact brake linings.
Linings can absorb grease and oil, causing early
glazing and very poor braking action. Failure to
do so could cause serious injury or death to
personnel.
